駄菓子が好きだ。
小さく、軽い。手頃で、身近な存在。体にいいわけでもなく、必需品でもない。
でも、好きな人にとっては必要で、幸福感を得られるもの。
駄菓子のようなものを作りたい。そんな思いから、台北で展示をするにあたって、
テーマを”CHEAP SNACKs”としました。はじめましての方にも、またお会いする方にも、
つまみ食い感覚で気軽に見てもらえたら嬉しいです。


I like cheap snacks or Dagashi in Japanese.

They are small, light, afordable and familiar. These aren't essential,
but they can be a fun treat now and then. For those who enjoy them,
they are essential and bring a sense of happiness.
I want to create works that are like dagashi.
With that in mind, I chose "CHEAP SNACKs" as the theme for my exhibition in Taipei.
I hope that people who are meeting me for the first time, or meeting me again,
will come and take a look at my exhibits as if they were snacking on something.
